ATTENTION: URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!

Hey guys, I am making this post on behalf of my lovely friend Josie because this sweet puppy desperately needs our help. She is scheduled to be euthanized TOMORROW MORNING! 

Here is a message from Josie: 

See that sweetheart up there? That’s Ginger. (This is where Ginger would lick your face.)

She’s scheduled to be killed on Friday, May 10th. After being attacked by another dog, her hindquarters extensively wounded and her face swollen up, she ended up in animal control’s kennels. The first weeks after arriving there, she became very reserved, refusing to eat and rarely moving in her kennel. 

But with three months time and a little attention from volunteers, she’s gone from shying away from human contact to that goofy mug up there.

She’ll sit, and lay, and roll over asking for belly rubs, and run by your side with her tongue hanging out, and without hesitation cuddle up on your lap with her paws crossed under her chin. (This is where you awww.)

This week I had planned to contact pit bull foster organizations in hopes to foster her but instead ended up getting sick, missing 3 days of volunteering at animal control. In that time, she was put on the immediate kill list. So far, no foster groups have responded to my phone calls or voicemails. (I’m already an approved foster parent, having fostered pits previously.)

So, now we’ve got until 8am Friday, May 10th to get $210 to rescue her. Usual dog adoption fees are $55 - $120 but medical bills for her injuries pushed it higher.

If you have ANY amount of money to spare, please consider sending it her way. Even the smallest donation would help! It all goes solely towards Ginger; her regular adoption fees, her medical bills concerning her injuries, and her spaying and microchipping.

She’s just past a year old and has already spent 3 months cooped up in a tiny kennel, not to mention the living conditions she might have had before. I can’t accept her life ending tomorrow. Not when I’ve got a couch for her to curl up on, a cat for her to chase, and the occasional pizza crust to slip her way.

Please, please, please help her out.
